A bit of christmas sparkle...

Lately I have been getting into the Xmas spirit by adding a cheeky bit of sparkle to my nails. Having been on a bit of a nail varnish splurge lately I now have too many options to choose from...if only I could wear them all

Naked and famous...

This makes me want to be a man...well dress like one anyways :)
After seeing the band play a small gig in Brighton I am now a tad bit obsessed with them and this t-shirt would make my life a little bit more complete. The Naked and Famous provided me with my summer soundtrack this year and their upbeat electro is perfect for reminding me how amazing those band-infused balmy nights were.

Found in Topman this beauty is on my 'xmas wish list'

cosmos, candy-floss and cupcakes

The other night I had the opportunity to help out at the Motel Rocks 'Blogger's party' in London. I had such an amazing evening and it has made me even more determined to get involved in a career that features PR and fashion events organisation.

Situated just behind the shopping Mecca that is Topshop Oxford St, the cocktails and sparkling Rose flowed freely as fashionistas had the chance to survey the new Winter collection. Sparlkly sequined dresses and leopard print ruled as everyone sipped on Cosmos and munched their way through free pop-corn, candy-floss and cupcakes.
A great night for all and a great success for the Motel Rocks brand

R is for...

My old leopard print topshop granny purse was starting to look a little worse for wear and more than a little shabby so I decided to upgrade to a brand spanking new one from Urban Outfitters

From Cardiff, with love...

I've spent the last few days visiting my younger sister Brodie in cardiff. And as I nurse a hangover that's almost as epic as the night out we had last night :) i now have a 4 hour train journey to contend with (thank god for iPhones!!). Such a good time though xoxo

Never ever break friends...

Today I stumbled upon these t shirts in h&m cardiff. They come as a 2 pack and are designed for you and your bestie' to wear to declare yourselves 'forever friends'. Reminiscent of the necklaces that my best friends and I would give each other back in the day...cute xoxo

splurging on studs, leather and spikes...

Having felt a bit lack-lustre of late I decided to treat myself (with the help of various overdrafts and store cards ) to a couple of new pieces for my wardrobe.

Leather-look shorts H&M, £14.99

Studded brogues from Office, £12.00 from £55.00 (bargain!!!!)

And these amazing, spiked bad-boys from Topshop £7.50...hunted for these everywhere but a friend finally located them for me the other day :)

Sweet like chocolate...

Okay two food related blog posts in a row isn't good (especially for my waist-line) but yesterday my mother and 2 out of 3 sisters came to visit me so I had to show off Brighton's local eateries.
This called for a trip to the Angel Food bakery.
Set right in the centre of the winding Lanes they sell the sort of cupcakes you HAVE to take a photo of before you eat them...just to truly treasure them before you gobble every last crumb.

Cute chocolate star cupcake

Chocolate orange cupcake= DIVINE!

As well as selling their mouth watering wares they also invite you to sign up to their cupcake bakery lessons...perfect for an afternoon with your besties' as a girlie treat

Motel Rocks in Brighton...

Great news!!! I have been chosen as the fashion student ambassador in Brighton for the clothing range Motel!
Yay me!

I'm super excited to report on all of the amazing street style and fashion events that Brighton has to offer. With it's large range of cosmopolitan influences and 'anything-goes' fashion sense I can see this being an amazingly enjoyable task :)

(not quite the view from my window but still a very sunny day <3)

The brand has a vintage-inspired look but also has some sexy body-con dresses perfect for after-dark
My favourite items are the two-toned shirt used in the above campaign, the bright blue playsuit (I have actually recently bought this from Topshop Brighton...yes Topshop stocks Motel <3 )

D.I.Y Dip dye tresses...

Fashionistas the world over are reaching for the bleach as they invest in the ultimate boho-babe hair trend...the dip dye. As seen on celebs such as Leighton Meester, Drew Barrymore and Rachel Bilson (below)

Using my fashion uni friends as guinea pigs I recreated the look at home.

Easy Peasy and it looks effortlessly sun-kissed

Let's go Gaga...

Last night we celebrated the birthday of my uni friend Lara. Everyone pulled out all the stops and donned their most out-there Gaga inspired outfits as we headed for a hedonistic night at Brighton's Digital Club.

Emily rocking her home-made geometric hat inspired by the 'Telephone' video

Birthday girl Lara wearing her daring 'Telephone' outfit (including nipple tape!!)

I heart Kate...

Lately I have been mega busy getting back into the swing of uni whilst experiencing my fair share of Brighton's nightlife
("down it fresher, down it!")
And after all my hard work (i.e. making it into the uni building for just over a week now) I decided to reward myself with a lipstick from the new Kate Moss for Rimmel range. I find red a little hard to pull off sometimes so went for a gorgeous shade of raspberry to play up my baby blues.

Stomping ground...

Today I wore my brand new Dr Marten's for the very first time.
To say I am in love with them is an understatement. <3
However, they nearly crippled me so I definitely need to wear those bad boys in....ouch.

Dr Martens- £102
They only sold them in the USA so had to pay a shipping fee but they are so worth it!

xoxo
