GFW and chaos in Camden...

On Wednesday Pe-jae, Emily and myself all decided to hit GFW for some inspiration for our last and final year at uni (boooo). We needed to check out the competition and it really got our 'creative juices' flowing. I'm looking forward to getting stuck into my final year...even if the thought of it is a bit scary.

After the exhibition we headed to Camden for a pitcher of cocktail on the lock. One turned into 'one too many' and we had a great night of live music at Proud in Camden Market.

a quick pose on the bridge...

rocking our black and grungy looks in Camden...

quite blurry due to the smoke but that is in fact Aiden Grimshaw!

We even managed to meet Aiden Grimshaw (of former X Factor fame) which was a massive treat.

The Black Keys...

Friday night the bf and I saw The Black Keys live at Alexandra Palace...
IT.WAS.EPIC!!

This performance is now stored in my memory as my top 4 live gigs EVER!!!
(Pulp, Foo Fighters, Queens of the Stone-age, in-case you were wondering)
They played a mix of old and new material that was the perfect combination of blues and rock.

Check out my video I managed to record whilst dancing my tootsies' off

Off to London...

I'm off to London with the bf to see the amazing band 'The Black Keys' at Alexandra Palace!!! Woooo! I am beyond excited.
First off when we get there I want to head straight for Camden market to sample the culinary delights of turkish wraps and chocolate dipped strawberries. Mmmm.
Tomorrow I'm going to make a bee-line straight for the shopping Mecca of Topshop (Oxford circus) for a bit of pre-birthday shopping.
Now for a 3 hour train journey from Weymouth :( but hopefully the new issue of I-d magazine will get me through it

cosmos, candy-floss and cupcakes

The other night I had the opportunity to help out at the Motel Rocks 'Blogger's party' in London. I had such an amazing evening and it has made me even more determined to get involved in a career that features PR and fashion events organisation.

Situated just behind the shopping Mecca that is Topshop Oxford St, the cocktails and sparkling Rose flowed freely as fashionistas had the chance to survey the new Winter collection. Sparlkly sequined dresses and leopard print ruled as everyone sipped on Cosmos and munched their way through free pop-corn, candy-floss and cupcakes.
A great night for all and a great success for the Motel Rocks brand
